Arranging for lever or pedal harp
With Verlene's guidance, you will learn how to arrange tunes for harp that are simple but beautiful! Watch as the class co-creates arrangements in real-time during the two-hour workshop. Handouts will be provided that cover how to choose chords, how to arrange a playable left-hand part, and some simple tools for adding interest. You’ll also be provided with a packet of traditional melodies that the class chose from. Verlene uses Sibelius in a shared screen to demonstrate how the ideas can be implemented. You'll get a PDF of all the arrangements created during the workshop.
