This two-hour online workshop is for lever or pedal harp. A polyrhythm is when two or more different rhythms are played simultaneously. These occur in pieces like Debussy’s First Arabesque, and in some Latin American tunes. Common polyrhythms include quarter note triplets in one hand, with quarter notes in the other hand, and quarter note triplets in one hand, with eighth notes in the other hand. Learn how to count these complex rhythms and to play them fluidly!
